There is no pack animals on this earth who are inclined to sacrifice his own flock for their own benefit as easily as humans.

 

Are you willing to sacrifice your friends, love, everything you own and have eternal life with eternal passion?

 

This issue landed in Harald's mind that night. The night when he and his friends had been dancing for the old Gods to the smell and taste of the drugs nature can provide. The night when they woke the spirits to life. The night when the Huldra came. Nobody in the party knew that she had the power and the desire to divide them.

 

When she stepped into their ritual sphere Harald felt his inner emptiness getting filled with desire. He wanted everything and he knew that everything is not possible to share with someone else. He bowed before the will of the Huldra and was prepared to give her proof of his fidelity. He was prepared to sacrifice everything for an eternity with her, with the Huldra.

 

What he does not know is that the Huldra is a mythical creature conjured up by the forest entity. One of the Vanir children. Her task is unknown to man. Humans do not understand her more than the fish know their fate, when they get pulled up on shore, at the moment it captured the target of her desires.

 

What we do not know is if the Huldra is for real or merely a part of the common psychosis drug-filled rituals may bring forth. A human condition that can get her to leave his flock or, perhaps even annihilate ...
